This challenge was right up my alley!! And it turned out to be a great excercise to play around in Blender!

Another excuse to dote upon the amazing group of character artists who do incredible work and constantly inspire, thank you for having me! The theme for this challenge was Manga so I decided to pick my favorite character from My Hero Academia.

Transforming such a dynamic character like Hawks into 3D was tough, but I loved pushing the movement and using the strengths of Manga to propel it further. This is a combination of a lot of shader work and grease pencil- please go check out everyone else's characters below!!
